The SS Boreas is a civilian Merchant ship, she roams the stars and planets in search of profit. It take a strong stock to 'work for a living' and the reputation is the best calling card in the Star Quadrant.

Federation ships can be a blessing or a curse, the Boreas has a more 'broad view' of 'the larger picture' in the universe. Some call us Mercenaries, other Privateers and a majority 'Go To People' or worst.

We are 'Not' assassins; too risky for the profit, or Soldiers for Hire as they get killed off easily, we are legitimate merchants out to make a buck; sometimes even honest ones, and the Space Lanes are our home.

If you can live life on your own terms and are willing to work with us to make some profit, then welcome aboard the SS Boreas.

Hi, everyone!

As you recall, Darrell took a vote about switching fleets.

Well, we did that last month, officially. We've been waiting for the database from Bravo Fleet, which I got yesterday.

The site is now up and the new URL is http://boreas.sim-station.net.

Everything should work fine. If there's a problem, let me know.

Nova has been updated to the latest version. The main difference is that you have to click on Keep Editing after you click on the name of a post to add a tag. Those who use Nova on other sims won't have any problems. :)

Thanks!

Charlie, the new webmaster.

To my Crew,

It is with great satisfaction that I announce the Official transfer to Task Force 38; the process is continuation officially, and we will be moving to the Delta Quadrant after this mission. While that is the most significant change in our location among the other sims there will be little change to our daily operations as a posting whole. You will not really feel any bumps in the flow aside from this Official notification.

I do wish to express my humble thanks to you for the support I got while deciding to make the move. You are the best crew in Bravo Fleet; despite us being civilian among the fleet, and I will have more details as we move into the new Task Force.

I see the major change being our finding new markets and commerce. We are on the frontier and there is fun to be had.

Welcome to Task Force 38 one and all.

With respects,

Captain Avin

To My Crew,

We have a Helmsman! Please help me welcome 'Iron man' Dillinger as played by Voz. HE is a creative writer and we will all have a bit more fun along the way. So he is not one to like writing alone and I am sure we can keep him busy.

We will bring him into the mission as it just started.

Welcome aboard Voz

With respects

Captain Avin

To My Crew,

The mission Specialized Dewlivery has come to an end, the new Mission will be starting on May 6th Pacific Standard Time.
Please use Mercy Mercinaries for all posts not related to the Specialized Delivery .

This next mission will truly bring out the depth of character I believe.

We start on Revenge of the Sixth.

My Friends. ,

Please help me in welcoming Dennis who will be portraying our new Engineer Dimitri Koslev. I have written with Dennis on several occasions and I am sure his style will make things fun.

Welcome Dennis, you are being brought in the new mission and will be starting on the ship.

Now the fun begins.

One advantage to the class of ship the Boreas belonged to was her ability to land; to get up and in the face of a client; or so Avin supposed. This would also be something of an advantage to ditching pursuits. Mingling into the ion wash of larger ship…
